We’re excited to launch Beacon – our new digital platform that provides you with a fun, simple way to learn more about using Palo Alto Networks technology, products and services!
Beacon is an interactive, engaging, one-stop site that gathers all Palo Alto Networks resources in one location to help you speed up the implementation of best practices. Beacon is designed to reduce the time you’ll spend onboarding, learning, and getting up-to-speed on new Palo Alto Networks features.
Beacon gives you:
- Roadmaps for self-service education and training
- Technical resources and best practices to get you up and running
- Learning tracks that can be customized based on role, expertise and needs.
Beacon is now accessible to all global Palo Alto Networks customers with a valid Customer Support Portal profile and an SSO login.
So, how does Beacon work?
Beacon runs off an inventory of the technical assets available to you today via resources like the Knowledgebase, LIVEcommunity, TechDocs and more. Those resources will continue to be accessible as standalone options, and will be available in Beacon in a combined format via outcome-based learning paths. Beacon also houses tips and tricks from our product gurus, delivering you a series of ready-to-use educational roadmaps.
Beacon lets you select your desired outcome or feature, then presents step-by-step educational guides that are designed to help you achieve your goals. Under this new format, you do not have to hunt for existing resources or decide the best order to consume them.
Beacon saves you the hassle of spending hours on research. Instead of having to visit eight or more resources to find the information you need, you can access everything through a single view. Beacon will also recommend additional assets that help you learn to apply this knowledge for optimal results.
Check out Beacon today to start learning.
